Meet Stephanie Bartkus

Meet our newest teacher, Miss Stephanie Bartkus. She replaces Mrs. Limoncelli who retired. Here is Miss Bartkuswhat she has to say about herself.

"Hi! My name is Miss Bartkus and I am the new physical education teacher at Canajoharie High School. I am very excited to be part of this community. To me, physical education is the foundation for the knowledge that movement will increase your chances at a healthier, more enjoyable life.

"I have always loved being active from the time I was a child whether it was biking, Frisbee, skateboarding, dancing or organized sports. The more I moved, the better I felt. It made me a better student. Having an active lifestyle my entire life guided me to the field I am in today after graduating in the top of my class from Westfield State College in Massachusetts.

"It is my goal to be proactive about healthy lives for teens. Whatever your ability, a little movement in your day will have positive effects on your health, mind and fitness. So let’s get those bodies moving and that blood pumping…and have some fun while we’re at it!"
