Tickets are still available for the 13th Annual Lions Club variety show at the Arkell Performing Arts Center at Canajoharie High School at 7 p.m., Friday, Nov. 4. Last year, the show raised more than $4,000. Of that total, $1,800 in scholarships were given to Canajoharie, Fort Plain and St. Johnsville, including a $500 grant to the eReader program in the high school library.
This year, organizers plan to give $500 to the program all three districts.
The International Club will also sponpor a $7 chicken dinner for $7 in the cafeteria at 4:30 p.m. And members of Canajoharie's Generation Yes program plan to sell consessions at the intermission and raffle off a quilt.
