    2. Membership:  Tara reported she now has 100% teacher participation and 173 members. Tara has membership information entered into the database at the school. Tracy will contact Melissa to get e-mail address of current members for PTA meeting reminders. A suggestion was given to develop PTA welcome packets for new students. The packets will include the school calendar, magnets, PTA forms and contact information. Tara will work on getting ten packets together to have on hand.

    3. Box Tops:  Mrs. Monk reported she is continuing to receive box tops. The first payment due in mid December has not yet been received. Reminder letters for this program were sent to families in October, November and December.

    4. Pictures: This topic was tabled until the January meeting.

    5. PTA Minutes: The PTA minutes are not yet able to be viewed on the school website. Tracy will e-mail Kyle to let him know of the problem.

The tentative dates for the next movie nights are January 27, 2006 and March 3, 2006. Mrs. Monk suggested taking out an ad in the local newspaper at the end of the year to thank local businesses for their donations and support throughout the year.

    2. Local Fundraiser: Bronwyn discussed the possibility of a fundraiser through the local business Kid Stuff. The tentative date is December 23, 2005, with 10% of all sales between 8 am and 7pm going to the PTA. Mrs. Nyahay will first need to obtain the Superintendent’s approval to go ahead with this fundraiser.

    3. PARP: This committee met at 6:30 pm on December 13th. The scheduled dates for this program are March 13th through March 24th using the train theme.
