Search the Web and earn money
for our school
The Canajoharie PTA is now participating in a

searches the Internet using Microsoft's Live Search engine. Simply
visit www.searchandgive.com
and click "Sign In." Sign up for a Windows Live™ ID and select our
school on the My Charity Settings page. Then start searching the
Internet using www.searchandgive.com.

Box Tops for Education
General Mills pays Canajoharie Central Schools 10
cents for box tops from a wide variety of its products under its
"Box Tops for Education" program. All you need to do is to clip the
box top from cereals (like Cheerios and Total) or baking mixes (like
Pillsbury and Betty Crocker) or even storage and trash supplies
(like Hefty and ZipLoc).
Click
here to download a complete list of 200 eligible products (in pdf

Researchers repeated report that exposing
children to books at young age makes children better readers.
But, what do you do if you do not have easy access to books?
The PTA and the Palatine Literary Society have
teamed together to help address that problem by creating the
"1000 Books Program." The program is an ambitious effort to
enable every child in the Canajoharie School District to read
1000 books by the time he or she enters kindergarten.
