Contest." Open to all students from preschool through
twelfth grade, this year's contest required each entrant to
submit a poem related to "our gardens."

Alexis Izzo, Jenna Sierra, Molly Feulner, Cody Hotaling,
Sheldon Vosburgh, Michael Buccolo, and Tyler Towse had their
entries published in the club's "Our Gardens Anthology

publication, state and local certificates, and pens, pencils
and erasers for future writing projects.
Approximately 30
sixth graders received certificates in recognition of their
participation.

The garden's full of life.
Look, There's the farmer's wife.
She makes the garden work
So birds and bees buzz, sing, and lurk.
Onions growing big,
Don't let Spot dig!
Cabbage covering up the ground.
Tomatoes growing large and round>
Squash and beans galore,
That's what a garden's for!

Herbs
Smell like
Scents from heaven:
Mint, Sage, Oregano, Thyme.
Divine.
