Marking Period Avgs.

Each course grade is calculated by multiplying the grade earned by the assigned course credit for an adjusted grade also referred to as points earned for the quarter.

GPA credit is the credit that will be earned when the course is completed (either .5 or 1).

Marking Period Grade x GPA Credit Assigned to Course = Adjusted Grade or Points Earned for Quarter

Adjusted grade (points) are added together to get the total points earned for the marking period.

The total is then divided by the number of GPA credits the student is enrolled in.

Total adjusted grade or points earned in a quarter/total GPA credits
