Arkell Stage spotlights area talent at CHS SADD
Talent Show
Family and friends filled the seats in the
Arkell Performing Arts Center to watch almost 30 groups of
performers at the 2008 SADD Talent Show on Friday, March 14.
Acts ranged from country and contemporary singers to classical
musicians and modern dancers.
Each year, the Canajoharie High School Chapter
of Student Against Destructive Decisions hosts the annual event
as a fundraiser to help underwrite the cost of the group's
annual Post-Prom Party. SADD co-president Hannah Monk and
officers Christine Ward, Sonny Pank, and Heidi Anderson emceed
the festivities. Co-president Rob Meachum manned the sound
board.
