Budget vote on May 21
Canajoharie Central School District residents
will vote May 21 on a proposed $19.7 million budget for the 2013-14
school year. The proposal increases spending by 2.53 percent over
2012-13 and carries a tax levy increase of 2.5 percent.

High school band to perform at Disney World
The Canajoharie High School band should have a
large audience this weekend as it performs in downtown Disney World
on Saturday. About 75 students will peform.

engagement survey for parents
The Family Engagement Committee is looking for
ways to improve parent engagement and they are looking for input.
The first step is a 30-question survey that should not take longer
than 15 minutes. Please

Drivers pre-licensing course on May
A driver's pre-licensing course will be
held from 4-9 p.m. Thursday, May 23, at Canajoharie High School.
Pre-registration is required by sending a check or money order
payable to Canajoharie Central School, c/o Pat Van Heusen,
Canajoharie Central School, 136 Scholastic Way, Canajoharie, NY
13317. This course fulfills the state law requiring proof of
satisfactory completion of five hours of classroom driver training
and highway safety instruction prior to the issuing of a license.
All persons enrolled must bring their learner's permit. The fee for
the course is $20.
