Dear Canajoharie School District Family,
I am writing this letter regarding a situation that recently occurred.
Last night we received information that someone may have made a statement that could have been interpreted as a threat relating to the district. As with any information of this nature, we are always responsive and ensure that it is investigated. The administration, along with local authorities, interviewed the people involved and determined that there is no reason to believe that the safety and well being of our faculty, staff and students will be compromised.
I am writing this letter not to alarm you but to be transparent and communicative about issues like this. We want to make sure that no one has incorrect information and enforce that we take things seriously when it comes to any possible threats or comments about our district.
