Attendance

Attendance daily is expected for each student.  This will include in-person, remote and assignment days.  The district attendance policy will be in effect during the 2020-21 school year.  Letters will occur when students are absent with 5, 10, 15, and 20 days.   Teachers and administration will follow-up with students and parents/guardians after the 10 day letter is sent out to collaborate on interventions to help curb the attendance issues.

PreK-6 Level:

  • Attendance will be taken in a traditional format in the student management system when the students arrive to school for the day
  • During remote learning days students are expected to attend the set class time and attendance will be taken during that time (if remote learning is needed at the Prek-6 level)

Grades 7-12:

  • Attendance will be taken in a traditional format in the student management system when students arrive to school for the day and during each period
  • During remote learning days students are expected to attend the set class time and attendance will be taken during that time
  • Attendance will be taken on assignment days when the student submits work for the day in the google classroom.
