Applications to run for the Board of Education Available April 1

Applications for prospective school board candidates will be available April 1 at the District Office.

Canajoharie Central School District residents will be asked to elect two members to the Board of Education during the May 19 budget vote and board election. The seat vacated by Christopher Fatta, which commences 7/1/2020 and ends 6/30/2022, will be on the ballot for the remainder of Fatta’s term along with a 5-year term commencing 7/1/2020.

Applications to run for the Board of Education can be obtained from the district clerk and by 5 p.m. on April 20.

The budget vote and election will be held from noon to 9 p.m. on Tuesday, May 19, at the East Hill Elementary Library.
