CANAJOHARIE – Canajoharie Central School District Superintendent Dr. Nick Fitzgerald has an important message for families regarding New York State Department of Health COVID-19 testing kits.
The Canajoharie Central School District has received COVID-19 testing kits from New York State for all students in the district. Families who would like a free test, you can pick them up at:
- Wednesday, Jan. 5 – 7:30 to 8 a.m. outside at all school drop-off locations
- Wednesday, Jan. 5 – 8 to 9 a.m. and 2 to 6 p.m. inside East Hill lobby
- Thursday, Jan. 6 – 8:30 to 9 a.m. outside at all school drop-off locations (1-hour delay day)
- Thursday, Jan. 6 – 9 to 10 a.m. and 2 to 6 p.m. inside East Hill lobby
There is one test per student. If you utilize the test and obtain a positive result, please call the COVID Coordinator, Mrs. Kari Scalzo, at 518-673-6335 or email her at firstname.lastname@example.org. We will need a picture of the positive result for confirmation. Also, please visit the county website and input the test result for proper documentation and contact tracing. There is additional information on quarantine and isolation on the county website as well.
