The Canajoharie Life Skills class, as well as Mrs. Fahy’s advanced Spanish class, have combined to do a unit on Mexico. The students have worked together in learning more about Mexico and their culture and traditions. For the completion of the unit, the students decided to make a traditional meal starting with appetizers to desserts. The students composed a shopping list and then will go shopping Tuesday afternoons to get their ingredients for their meal. They will spend Wednesday and Thursday preparing their meal and enjoying their desserts as well. This unit has been a wonderful experience for both classes to work together.
