Parent Resources and PTA
There is more to a great school than curriculum and buildings and the PTA is one of those.
The PTA invests money in enrichment grants and special projects for your students. Everyone benefits. These included donations for the Reflections Art Program, Post-Prom party, music department trip, yearbooks, Writer’s Conference, guest lecturers, recycle regatta, and fifth-grade breakfast. The PTA raises funds by hosting a School Picture Day; Book Fair during Open House; clipping Box Tops for Education, and fund-raising sales. We also host activities for the children such as the Snowman Showdown, 3-4 grade adult child dance, and our PARP (parents as reading partners program).
Membership in the PTA allows us to join the National PTA and receive yearly training, support and ideas to make a school full of happy faces. There is a $5 membership fee. A membership form can be found here.
We hope you will support us by contributing membership funds today and please consider giving time to the PTA.
PTA meeting dates are on the school calendar. The meetings are at 3:15 p.m. in the Elementary Library, unless otherwise noted.
Child abuse hotline notification
If you suspect a child is being abused or maltreated (neglected), report it by calling 1-800-342-3720, a toll-free 24-hour hotline operated by the New York State Office of Children and Family Services.
If you believe a child is in immediate danger, call 911 or your local police department.

Cyberbullying takes cruelty from the halls to the online world
Most parents may have grown-up thinking bullying meant someone taking their child’s lunch money or calling them horrible names.
Cyberbullying can involve: sending mean, vulgar, or threatening messages or images; posting sensitive, private information and/or lies about another person; or pretending to be someone else in order to make that person look bad.
