Pre-K-Grade 5

Pre-Kindergarten
The Canajoharie Central School District normally conducts pre-kindergarten registrations in the spring for children entering kindergarten the following September.
In order for the District to plan for the next school year, please submit applications no later than May 7, 2023 for class placement.
For a child to enter Pre-kindergarten in September 2023, he or she must be a district resident, and at least four years of age on or before December 1, 2023.
The 2023-2024 program will be a full day, the hours will be 8:30 a.m.-2:30 p.m. Transportation will be provided. If you have any questions, please contact Mrs. Amy Booth at the East Hill Elementary School at 518-673-6310 or you can email at amy.booth@canjo.org
Kindergarten
The Canajoharie Central School District normally conducts kindergarten screening and registration in the spring for children entering kindergarten the following September. Residents who miss the scheduled registration dates can contact Mrs. Amy Booth at the East Hill Elementary School at 673-6310 for more information.
For a child to enter kindergarten in September, he or she must be at least 5 years old on or before December 1 of the previous year. When registering a child, parents must bring:
birth certificate
social security card
proof of residency (tax bill or letter from your landlord)
immunization record signed by a doctor
a completed school entrance record
registration cards with them when they register the child.
