Revised dismissal plan for pick ups at East Hill K-6 students

Greetings from your East Hill and 6th Grade Middle School Families!

As we all worked hard to implement safety procedures due to COVID and welcome students back to our new school year, I would like to take this opportunity to say thank you to the families for helping to ensure a smooth transition to in-person learning for all of us. With that being said this year requires us to be more flexible than usual.  Changes can and will most likely occur (sometimes at a moment’s notice) as we navigate through this challenging time. This letter is to inform you of one such change with regards to dismissal for “Pick-ups”

New Dismissal Procedure for Pickups:

After the buses have departed from East Hill (approximately 2:45-2:50) students in grades:

PreK-K – Parents/Guardians will pick up at the North end of East Hill (same location)

1st-4th Grade –   Parents/Guardians will pick their children up in the front of East Hill.

5th-6th Grade –   Parents/Guardians will pick up from the Middle School Entrance

This change will go into effect on Monday, September 14th.   The drop-off location in the morning will remain the same.  Please make sure you have your child ready to exit the vehicle as you pull through the Middle School loop.   We will have PreK-5 grade on Monday and we want to make sure we can keep the line moving.

Thank you in advance for your continued support and cooperation!  If you have any questions regarding this change, please feel free to contact us.

Sincerely,

Alicia D’Ambrosio
East Hill Principal

Chris DePaolo
Middle School Principal
