Graduation from a regionally accredited New York State registered college or university with an AAS Degree in Secretarial Studies, Office Administration or a closely related field; or 4 years’ experience as an administrative assistant or secretary with 1 year of supervisory experience preferred.

The Secretary to the Superintendent is a management/confidential position. This position supports the work of the Superintendent performing typing, clerical and secretarial work, frequent exercise of independent judgment in performing duties, relating information regarding policies and practices, and planning the routine of an office.
The Secretary to the Superintendent also supports the work of the Board of Education.
Candidates must be a legal resident of Montgomery County. School District Residency may be taken into consideration at the time of appointment
