Canajoharie High School senior Richie Tamsett has signed on to play baseball at Hudson Valley Community College.
Tamsett plans to major in Physical Education.
Tamsett was joined by his parents, Stephanie and Rich Tamsett and Coaches Joe Fowler and Kevin Suits for the signing.
During his time at Canajoharie,Tamsett was a part of the 2021 WAC All-Star First Team and the NYS Section 2 Class C 2021 Baseball Champions. Tamsett said the championship has been his most memorable experience at the district.
Tamsett said the person who has been his biggest inspiration is his dad.
“He’s who I want to be like when I grow up. He’s just a great Dad,” Tamsett said.
