In addition to STAR’s 2017-2018 yearly school theme, “What You Think About You Bring About,” STAR introduced students to the MyIntent Project.
Students were asked to choose a word that defined them or in some way inspired them.
Initially, each student, faculty, staff, and administrator filled out a form indicating their word along with the option of sharing a brief story or explanation about why they chose that word. Some of the stories that were shared were so moving and in some cases very brave.
We’ve observed the students asking each other “What’s your WORD?”, and having a conversation about what it means. It’s so refreshing to hear teenagers discussing topics like strength, faith, courage and empowerment which is precisely what our theme that year was about, “What You Think, About You Bring About”.
We’ve had many parents and community members ask how they can get a MyIntent Bracelet, so we created an order form.
Simply click on the link, fill out the form and mail or drop it off at the high school main office between the hours of 8:00 a.m. and 3:00 p.m.
We will call when your bracelet(s) is ready and it can be pick up at the same location during the same hours listed above.
In return, we ask that you make a donation of any amount to cover the cost of the MyIntent bracelet. All donations will go to the Canajoharie High School STAR Program.
